Handling Corals Safely

Handle all corals with care, they are living animals and tissues may damage easily! Always handle the coral by the frag plug or by the base on larger colonies to avoid damage. When possible, wearing non-powdered gloves and eye protection is reccomended.

Zoanthids and Palythoas are toxic and should be handled with extra care. Gloves, eye protection, and a mask is recommended. Do not handle if you have exposed cuts. Avoid touching your face, especially eyes and mouth. Wash hands thoroughly with soap after handling.
